Summary

As a Construction Engineer, you work as part of the engineering department, ensuring that our construction projects are safe and comply with the building regulations. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Chief Resident Engineer, and are expected to carry out various tasks with particular emphasis on commercial construction. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development and Sales Strategy Formulation (30%):

    • Create and execute sales strategies to market and sell assurance services. Identify target markets, customer segments, and industry trends to optimize sales opportunities.

  • Client Relationship Building (15%):

    • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

    • Understand clients’ needs and customize solutions to align with their objectives.

  • Product Expertise (10%):

    • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the organization's services.

    • Educate clients on the advantages and value proposition of our offerings.

  • Sales and Revenue Generation (20%):

    • Achieve or surpass sales targets and revenue objectives set by the organization. Develop pricing strategies that align with the organization’s principles while remaining competitive.

  • Market Research (10%):

    • Stay informed about regulations, market trends, and developments in the Middle East.

    • Analyze competitors' offerings and market positioning.

  • Reporting and Analysis (10%):

    • Compile regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses. Identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions.

  • Training and Education (5%):

    • Conduct training sessions for sales teams to enhance their understanding of assurance concepts. Keep the sales team updated on new product developments and enhancements.

  • Compliance and Ethical Standards (5%):

    • Ensure that all sales practices adhere to ethical and legal standards.

    • Align sales processes with established practices and corporate responsibility policies.

Key Skills
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development within the consulting services sector.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Proficiency in utilizing sales and customer relationship management software.

  • Essential comprehension of market dynamics in the Middle East and/or Europe
